I think a 3 day tour is the minimum to discover the Angkor temple complex. Begin the first day with Angkor Wat at sunrise, stroll around and then head to Preah Khan to wander around the corridors for the afternoon. On the second day visit Angkor Thom with its monumental temples and beautiful terraces. Dedicate the third day to Banteay Srei because it's the farthest from Siem Reap.
